You can support us in a variety of ways:
By coming to us for all your garden needs, you are helping to keep our team of assistant gardeners busy and giving them a full life ingredient. We are a CIC - a community interest company, this means that we are not for profit. Although we have staff and directors who are paid, there are no big salaries, and all monies are ploughed back into the business, this makes Care in the Garden sustainable and it ensures a better future for all people involved.
By giving us a donation. Care in the Garden is a not for profit organisation. We strive to provide a safe and happy environment where people can work and become part of their community. If you would like to help and support us, any donation would be welcome, and you can be sure it will go to help our team keep their work placements.
By volunteering. If you have an interest in gardening or woodwork and have a few hours to spare regularly each week, would you like to be a work buddy? Our assistants often need someone to help them during the day. If you have a kind and caring attitude, and are patient and understanding, please give us a call.
By giving us unwanted tools and pots. If you have any old terracotta pots, or old tools that we can renovate for resale, we would be very grateful. Sorry, but we are unable to accept electrical items, old plastic flower pots or trays. We only use certain sizes and also do not have space to sort and clean them.
